Rotary Day of Service – Protecting the Environment
San Mateo County Location
The Rotary Day of Service at San Mateo County will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Coyote Point Recreation Area. The event offers volunteer environmental hands-on projects, lithium battery recycling as well as an Environmental Exhibitor Fair, and an Electric Vehicles and eBike Expo.

Time
- 8:30AM - Check-in at Beach Group Picnic Area (Pick up reusable bag, lunch ticket, prize drawing ticket.)
- 8:50AM - Welcome and thank you to participants
- 9:00AM to 11:30AM - Hands-on projects
- 12 noon to 1PM - Lunch provided by the Rotary Club of Foster City – “The Club that Cooks!”
- 11:00AM to 2PM - Environmental Information Fair and Electric Vehicles/E-Bikes Expo
- Environmental organization exhibits
- Environment-focused vendor exhibits
- Lithium battery and eyeglass recycling
- Prize drawings
- Educational talks
- Family-friendly activities
- 2PM - Head home!

San Mateo County Parks Department Volunteer Agreement
Each participant must complete this Volunteer Agreement. If the volunteer is a minor, a parent or guardian must complete and sign the Volunteer Agreement. Download here, complete, and bring to the event on May 13, 2023.
NOTE: Volunteers arriving by 9:30 a.m. will be admitted free to the Coyote Point Recreation Area. A $6 fee per car will be charged after 9:30 a.m.
